A foreign tourist, having just entered China through the Longbang Port, soon realized she faced a serious inconvenience. With only 3 U.S. dollars on her person and no Chinese currency in hand, she found herself in a bind shortly after arrival.

Thankfully, amid her distress, local residents quickly offered guidance. Locals directed her to the Longbang Border Police Station, where dedicated officers immediately took notice of her predicament.

Understanding the urgency of her situation, the police promptly contacted a nearby bank to arrange for a currency exchange solution. They then guided her to a nearby branch of the Bank of China in Jingxi City.

Throughout the process, the police officers used translation software to manage language differences. They offered clear, straightforward details about the local tourism situation and available public services, which helped the visitor adjust to her new surroundings.

After resolving the currency exchange matter, the officers didn't stop there—they also assisted the tourist in finding accommodation, ensuring that she could rest and feel secure after her ordeal.

Before parting ways, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude through a translated message on her phone: "China police are truly awesome! Thank you!" with a grateful thumbs-up.

This warm-hearted episode is a vivid reminder that service transcends national boundaries. It also highlighted a timeless travel lesson: always carry a modest amount of local currency to prepare for unexpected situations.
