In Macao, a foreign man is suspected of slapping a female high school student's buttocks on Rua do Comandante João Belo Street.
Local law enforcement authorities announced that the foreign man involved was arrested following the report. He denies the allegations of the offence and faces charges of sexual harassment, with the case being forwarded to the prosecution office for further action.
The man involved in the case is in his 30s. According to reports, the 18-year-old female victim filed a report on Monday evening around 6pm, stating that while passing through Rua do Comandante João Belo Street, she was slapped on the buttocks from behind by an individual who then swiftly fled the scene.
After the local law enforcement department received the report, the foreign man was intercepted on Rua do Bairro Novo. Despite denying the accusations, law enforcement officers believe there is evidence suggesting that the foreign man may have engaged in acts of sexual harassment. He has been arrested on suspicion of sexual harassment.
