According to a statement from China Customs on December 19, a foreign male passenger was suspected of trafficking drugs by body concealment at Guangzhou Customs.

Recently, officers from the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs, part of Guangzhou Customs, were overseeing an incoming flight when they noticed a foreign male passenger exhibiting suspicious behavior and appearing nervous. After questioning and a thorough search, customs officers determined he was suspected of concealing drugs internally and handed him over to the anti-smuggling department. The man was immediately sent to a designated medical facility for further examination, where a total of 25 drug capsules were expelled. Testing by a professional agency confirmed the capsules contained 339.95 grams of cocaine and 0.94 grams of heroin.
