Nearly 200 Parks Reopen in Shanghai

A total of 198 parks in Shanghai have resumed operation as of Saturday as the novel coronavirus epidemic begins to recede, according to the local authorities.

Meanwhile, the instantaneous visitor flows in the parks, especially those that are in the flower season, will be strictly controlled so as to avoid the gathering of people as the epidemic has not ended yet.

By March 20, the remaining 335 city parks, except those temporarily closed for renovation and maintenance, will also reopen to the public, local authorities said.
