Job description
A Senior Consultant(Native English Speaker) at Ruder Finn will have a minimum of six years experience in the public relations industry. In addition to the Consultants responsibilities of managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a mentor and coach to the account team, the Senior Consultant will take on additional responsibilities of driving new business development and supporting senior management. He/she will be expected to manage teams and assign responsibilities to ensure client satisfaction and deliver results within a profitable budget. The Senior Consultant will actively coach and mentor team members to support their professional development, encouraging initiative and creativity and a high level of performance. Responsibilities: Planning and communication concept development Make strategic planning of communication concepts in terms of corporate reputation, corporate brand image and top management positioning Identify communication opportunities and recommend talking points for senior management Contribute to the creation of communication themes and key corporate PR initiatives Professional support to senior management communication Prepare briefing books on key events, e.g. auto shows, ceremonies Provide professional insights, detail talking points and Q&As and on-site support for selected media interviews Monitor media closely and keep management abreast of important and sensitive news reports Support on corporate issue & crisis management Supervise issue or sensitive topics monitoring and report on daily basis Account Management Manages account administration duties such as billing and financial reporting, and authorize timesheets of team members ensuring that billing is within budget Ensures that all activities carried out for clients are properly documented and budget and status reports are submitted New Business Participates in new business brainstorms and drafting new business proposals Takes accurate client briefs, research, develops and leads innovative and creative new business proposals which provide strategic value and a competitive edge within a profitable budget
Requirements
Requirements: 6+ years experience with full-time professional copywriting, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry. Good knowledge on auto industry and competitors information is preferred. Familiar with PR agency working process, especially in auto industry; Strong planning skill and strategic thinking Strong team leader and player Good communication skill and presentation skill Language skill: Native English, good command of Chinese is preferred.
