Foreigner Caught Smuggling Cocaine into China!

According to Chinanews.com, on December 9th, 2019, a foreign man who used metallic objects to hide and smuggle cocaine into China was seized by Guangzhou Customs.


As per the report, a flight from Addis Ababa landed at Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, and a foreign man went through  customs with large belongings. His actions attracted the attention of customs officers. Through an X-ray inspection, the customs officer found that there were metallic objects in his belongings.



Suspecting that he may be smuggling goods, they immediately carried out an inspection. 


After sampling and testing, it was confirmed that it was cocaine.


"There were many black metallic objects in his belongings, some were U-shaped, some were A-shaped. They were supposed to be hollow from the outside, but they were actually much heavier. Then we knocked on the metallic objects and found that some parts had abnormal sound.

After confirming that there was a large area inside of them, we opened them.The on-site customs officer told the news staff.
