The Chinese New Year is approaching in one week, and some enterprises have started their vacation already. Obviously not all companies follow statutory holidays. So, what's the arrangement of the entry exit administration bureaus during the Spring Festival? Are they universal in all cities in China?

On January 14th, 2020, the Exit-Entry Administration of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau announced the notice of its office arrangement during the coming Spring Festival. The details are as follows:

Work Time: From January 19th (Sunday) to 23rd; January 31st, and February 1st (Saturday); On January 28th, exit-entry service will available for Chongqing citizens, but not for expats.

Days-off: January 18th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 29th and 30th, 7 days in total, all reception windows would be closed.

Up to now, in addition to Chongqing, the vacation information of the exit and entry bureaus of other major / popular tourist cities remain inaccessible online.

In this regard, the JobTube team managed to interview the counterparts of ten cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Xiamen and Haikou, and confirmed they will be following the statutory holiday agenda, and will be open for service from January 19th (Sunday) to 23rd; January 31st, and February 1st (Saturday).

Per the receptionist of the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shenyang, the service windows will be daily open during the holidays, but only for Chinese people.

In addition, people in these cities with an exit-entry business need may contact the bureaus on workdays by telephone.
