Dujiangyan Panda Base is China's Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.
Do you want to learn more about pandas? Then this is the perfect place for you! As a panda keeper, you will clean up bamboos, pick up droppings, wash the enclosures, observe and understand the pandas status and living conditions, and so on, activities that you will do for 2 hours.
Then you will have 30 minutes to visit the panda rescue exhibition hall to enrich your knowledge about panda rescues. Next, you will participate in the love feeding process, where for 30 minutes you will personally deliver the food for the pandas made of delicious cakes and fruits. This activity will help you understand what are the steps in the process of feeding a panda. But wait! There is more! You can even make the cakes by yourself for the pandas!
Later, you will watch a documentary that shows scientific facts about pandas. In 45 minutes experienced panda experts will share their knowledge about pandas in order to make you understand how humans can protect and live in harmony with these lovely animals.
Finally, you can get your panda keeper certificate issued after successfully completing all the activities above.
