Nov 8: Wooozy Offline: Palmistry

Wooozy invite London-based dancehall artist Palmistry for their latest offline event. The forward-thinking producers latest effort, Afterlife, is a gorgeous blend of styles, blending obvious inspirations from RnB, trap music and more, to make club music that is sentimental and emotional. Hell be joined by locals Jaya, Kong BB, Shy Shine and XDD.

It has been 20 years since she first stood behind the turntables, and Rebekah has established herself as one of the leading exponents of techno currently operating on the global circuit. Her love affair with harder sounds stretches back to the legendary Que Club in her hometown of Birmingham. Thats where she was introduced to music by the likes of Dave Clarke, Derrick Carter, Richie Hawtin and Billy Nasty. The fact she now shares billing with artists of this caliber is testament not only to her talent but how her music has been received by the techno community.

Nov 8: Never Young Beach

The first of a pair of Japanese acts on this list, Never Young Beach are best known for creating vibey surf rock (hence the beach?). The Speedstar Records band recently released their latest record, Story, has received good reviews. Relive warm weather and summer vibes with them at Modern Sky Lab this weekend.

Nov 8: Supermarket Live in Shanghai

Founded all the way back in 1996, Supermarket are well known as Chinas first electronic band. Celebrating a whopping 23 years of life with this show at Bandai Namco this weekend, their 1998 album, Muyang (which translates to The Look or Appearance) was ranked as one of the best releases of that year by a number of music outlets. Catch them while you can.

Nov 9: Popasuda 9 Year Anniversary

The mighty Popasuda Sound celebrates nine years at Dada Shanghai with another wicked party. Expect a few special guest DJs rolling through for massive global vibes. Skinny hits the decks with world bass music, global-inspired techno and house, dancehall, a splash of custom reggae, and a wicked stack of sounds from across the world.

Nov 9: Asian Dope Boys pres. Lotic

Lotics latest album Power dropped in 2018. The record hit listeners like a ton of bricks, packed with, you guessed it, a hell of a lot of power. Hailed by Mixmag as one of the most important voices in outsider art, they are also one of the most exciting producers around. Asian Dope Boys bring the ferocious femme to ALL this weekend.

Nov 9: Medusa X T4T Luv Nrg

Medusa returns this weekend with T4T Luv Nrg for another raucous evening at Elevator. T4T make sure that every space they play at is a safe one, where a persons choice of gender pronoun is respected. The label was founded by Octo Octa and Eris Drew, after the success of their parties of the same name. Blending house music with turntablism, rave, disco and a lot more in between, T4T are a force to be reckoned with.

Nov 9: 44KW Presents SASCHA FUNKE

Since his childhood, Berlin-born DJ and producer Sascha Funke has been all about energy. Growing up he sang, while in the evenings after school, he would tune into radio stations, press the recording button of his double-tape-deck, and record mixtapes of Western music, to which he danced all alone in his room.
