Have You Tried Chinese Food "Shadow Beef"?

If you love Sichuan Cuisine, then Shadow Beef is absolutely a must-try dish.

According to legend, the dish is related to Yuan Zhen, a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty. During his term of service in Tongzhou, he always went to drink in the same tavern, where a special beef dish was served as appetizer. It had bright red color and was spicy, tongue-numbing yet delicious, leaving a rich after taste. More surprisingly, although the beef was cut in large slices, they were as thin as paper.
