The other day, a schoolboy in Dalian has been hailed for his politeness in China after bowing to a car to thank the driver for letting him cross the road.
The pupil showed his gratitude to the motorist in the middle of a street while walking with his mother.
The boy's mother gave the driver a half-bow before carrying on walking.
But the child turned around to face Mr. Liu, the driver before bending forward 90 degree in front of his car to thank him.
The driver said although the child and his parent did not use a zebra crossing, he was touched by the boy's kindness and modesty.
Mr. Liu said pedestrians and drivers should be more understanding towards each other because 'simple acts like this could benefit the whole society'.
