Britannica International School, Shanghais first open sessions of 2020 for students aged 2-11 who are entering Early Years and Primary will take place after Chinese New Year, on February 14, March 13 and March 27. All parents are welcome to bring their children along to these sessions, and they will be offered an opportunity to receive an on-site assessment. This will allow you to secure a place ASAP at Britannica and avoid the waiting list.
During the open sessions, parents can explore Britannicas centrally located, purpose-built campus and experience the schools top-quality British education. Families will also have the opportunity to meet Principal Goodwin, an experienced educational leader with a passion for China, and discover more about the schools British curriculum.

Hong Qiao International School

Hong Qiao International School (HQIS) opened its doors in 1997 with just two classes serving 18 preschool students. Since then, their student population has steadily increased. In 2012, HQIS became an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School authorized to teach the Primary Years Program (PYP). The IB-PYP program begins in preschool and goes through to Grade 5. At Middle and High School, they offer a strong program based on the American curriculum, with AP as the capstone. They are currently offering AP physics, AP chemistry, AP biology and AP math and will add more AP courses in the future. As one of the leading international schools in Shanghai, they are committed to offering a student- centered holistic education that prepares students for higher education and life beyond the walls of the classroom.
HQIS Open Day is the opportunity for all parents to learn more about the school. During these sessions, parents can take a guided tour of the campus led by teachers, coordinators and staff. Theyll be able to observe the activities and daily routines of the students, visit classrooms, review course materials and ask questions.

Bilingual School Open Days
Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School

Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School is affiliated with the Yushen Education Group. Its predecessor was Shanghai Liaoyuan Experimental School, which was founded in 1992. In 2016, the school changed its name to Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School and began offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and Middle Years Programme (IB MYP). Liaoyuan is one of the few schools in Shanghai that has successfully integrated the Chinese National Curricula and IB PYP Framework, in addition to its course delivery as a bilingual model. The school recognizes IBs mission statement and engages in cultivating students with a international vision. Liaoyuan also has a full-time Senior High School (Shanghai Liaoyuan Private Bilingual High School) that offers Canadian and American High School courses and recruits both local and interna-tional students.
The International Curriculum Division of Liaoyuan Bilingual High School will hold its open day and spring placement exam on January 18 and February 8, 2020. Families are welcome to attend either session.
