Exclusive Michelin-Style Thai Feast at Hyatt on the Bund

The weather is getting colder, so why not warm up with authentic Thai cuisine? Head over to VUE Dining at Hyatt on the Bund from November 22-24 to enjoy an eight-course menu from guest chef Bongkoch Bee Satongun, co-owner and head chef at Michelin-starred Paste Bangkok Thai Restaurant.

The undisputed pioneer of modern Thai cuisine, Chef Bee has established a reputation as one of Bangkoks most highly regarded chefs. Hailing from Thailand, Chef Bee learned the ropes at an early age, helping her parents run their khanom jeen stall. 


Chef Bees passion for Thai cuisine is evident in her innovative cooking. The self-taught chef combines her passion for historic Thai recipes and age-old cooking techniques to recreate dishes in her unique, layered and visually arresting style. With one Michelin star and Asias Best Female Chef award under her belt, Chef Bee is looking forward to cooking local gourmet dishes for guests at Hyatt on the Bund, highlighting cuisine from her homeland.


The eight-course menu includes signature dishes from Paste Bangkok Thai Restaurant. Chef Bee will carefully select the best ingredients and most unique flavors of the season to present dishes that represent the special characteristics of Thai cuisine. VUE Dining guests will have the chance to taste truly authentic Thai fare with a vista of Shanghais colorful skyline serving as the backdrop from the five-star Hyatt on the Bund hotel.

From November 22-24, Chef Bee will present the a special eight-course dinner menu for RMB680 per person, as well as a four-course dinner menu for RMB420 per person at VUE Dining. Food lovers absolutely do not want to miss out on this exclusive Southeast Asian feast while taking in spectacular views of the Bund and Pudong!
