On August 19th, a video of a foreign man eating Yongkang meat patties, a local snack in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, and praising them in an unorthodox dialect, went viral on China's social media.

Deeply interested, news staff managed to contact the foreign man in the video through person who uploaded the video. The foreigner was Sam Keir, a young British man, who has been working in China for 4 years.

On that day, the news staff found Sam in the cultural auditorium of Shijiang Village, Xixi Town, where he was playing with a group of children, as a volunteer teacher.

A Volunteer

As of now, Sam works in an international training school in Xiamen.

During his day off, his top priority is to participate in public welfare activities and give classes to children of Migrant Worker Children's School.

One day, Sam learned through a public welfare organization in Shanghai, that Sunshine Love Volunteer Association would hold a public welfare summer camp in Shijiang Village, Jinhua, Zhejiang. Without any hesitation, he signed up for it.
