Good morning

Yesterday, Hangzhou reported an asymptomatic person who had returned to Hangzhou from France.

On March 7th, the novel coronavirus nucleic acid was detected in a sample of nasopharyngeal swabs from a man returning from France who had no fever, cough, imaging changes of pneumonia, or any other obvious clinical symptoms.

The man arrived at Beijing Capital Airport on March 4 from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, and arrived at Xiaoshan Airport in the afternoon of March 5. In the airport screening, he was in a normal physical situation. The community arranged a car to drive him home on Dinglan street in Jianggan District, along with a home-based isolation.

On March 6, the man asked for a virus test. Considering that he had a history of living in France, the community sent him to Xixi Hospital for examination.

On the morning of March 7, his nasal and pharyngeal swabs turned positive, while everything else was normal in his physical examination report provided by Xixi Hospital. He had no fever or other respiratory symptoms, and his CT showed no imaging features of pneumonia. Per the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Scheme (Sixth Edition) issued by the National Health Committee, this is a case of asymptomatic infection.

It is reported that asymptomatic infection may also become a source of infection, but the number of viruses carried is relatively small and the transmission ability is relatively weak. The close contacts of asymptomatic patients need to be isolated for 14 days, though. According to the regulations, asymptomatic infected persons are not within the scope of daily epidemic notification, but if asymptomatic infected persons have symptoms during centralized isolation, they will be classified as confirmed cases and reported.

Hangzhou Asian Games seeks sponsors

Solicitations for official sponsors and suppliers for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou has begun, the organizing committee of the event announced on Tuesday.

The first batch of sponsors and suppliers is expected to comprise enterprises in the fields of internet safety, internet of things technology, photography, videography, nonalcoholic beverages, travel services, Western-style fast food and household kitchen appliances, the official notice said.

The organizing committee is making a distinction between a sponsor and a supplier based on an enterprise's contributions and investments and the rights to which they will be entitled. Official suppliers are divided into exclusive and non-exclusive categories to provide more opportunities for small and medium-sized private enterprises.

Qualified companies can apply for sponsorship by submitting materials online. The organizing committee will review the qualifications and go through the materials before determining candidates. All candidates will be invited to negotiate with the organizers.

Once signed up, the sponsors and suppliers will be entitled to certain rights, as well as priority in negotiations.

Currently, seven companies, including Alibaba Group, Geely Group, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Loong Airlines, have signed up to become the Games' official partners.

In addition, the first 24 franchised manufacturers and 14 franchised retailers for Games-related products such as souvenirs have been confirmed, and seven offline stores and one online Tmall store have been launched.
