A total of 4,515 confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) were reported as of Monday, January. 106 people died and 60 patients have recovered.

In Guangdong province, people who go to public places must wear masks.
Those who do not wear masks when entering public places shall be discouraged, and those who do not listen to the dissuasion shall be reported to the relevant competent authorities, who shall be dealt with according to their respective functions and duties according to law.
Those who obstruct emergency personnel from performing their duties, violate the law of the People's Republic of China on punishment for public security administration, and constitute violations of public security administration, shall be punished by the public security organ according to law; if the case constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
Shanghai on Monday postponed the resumption of work and school openings to reduce people gathering and block the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
The decision was made after the State Council.
All kinds of local enterprises, except those in the sectors such as utilities, medical appliances and drugs, supermarkets and food, shall not resume their work earlier than the midnight of Feb. 9, Shanghai's authorities said during a press conference on Monday afternoon.
Schools at all levels, including universities, primary and middle schools and kindergartens, shall not open before Feb. 17. The specific date will be announced later.
