In October of this year, LinkedIn announced the soon-to-be closure of LinkedIn in China, and the future launch of another platform. However, as of today, another announcement has been made.

Previously, LinkedIn announced in October, "Our decision to launch a localized version of LinkedIn in China in February 2014 was driven by our mission to connect the world's professionals to make them more productive and successful. ... We also established a clear set of guidelines to follow should we ever need to re-evaluate our localized version of LinkedIn in China."

As of today on December 8th, LinkedIn gave an announcement via email to subscription users, notifying them that their subscriptions will soon be invalid, and that they can deactive them as per receiving the email.
