Shanghai Lowers Price for Nucleic Acid Testing

Shanghai has lowered the cost for COVID-19 nucleic acid testing today, according to SHINE.

The price for a single test has been decreased from 60 yuan (US$9.5) to 40 yuan in public hospitals.

COVID testing services are now available in 156 hospitals and institutes in Shanghai. The facilities are capable of testing 910,000 people maximum per day.
