15 New COVID Cases Reported in China!

China reported 15 new COVID-19 cases on May 2, down from 16 cases a day earlier, the country's national health authority said on Sunday.

All of the new cases were imported infections originating from overseas, the National Health Commission said in a statement.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in China now stands at 90,686, while the death toll remained unchanged at 4,636

China carried out about 11.6 million vaccinations against COVID-19 on April 30, bringing the total number administered to 265.06 million, according to data released by the National Health Commission on Saturday.

It marks the first time China's daily vaccination number exceeds 10 million.

China's vaccination pace has picked up significantly in the last three days of April.
