China has maintained its position as Mongolia's biggest trading partner in 2020, according to data released by Mongolia's National Statistics Office on Wednesday. Bilateral trade between Mongolia and China amounted to $7.4 billion last year, accounting for 57.5 percent of Mongolia's total foreign trade.


Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to $103.4 billion in 2020 and China remained Ukraine's largest trading partner, the press service of the State Customs of Ukraine reported on its official website on Tuesday.

3China's civil aviation regulator has announced the suspension of an Air China flight and a Pakistan International Airlines flight after several passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on recent flights. A total of five passengers tested positive on Air China's Johannesburg-Shenzhen flight CA868 on December 31, 2020, and the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting January 18, said the Civil Aviation Administration of China on Tuesday.

4Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on Wednesday said the entry of all non-resident foreign nationals into the country will be suspended as part of a coordinated effort to curb the further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of entries were suspended in December, although travelers arriving on business and associated with some student programs from certain countries had been exempt from the tightening restrictions.
